The rumors running around that Warren Cloud, a online gambling casino owner, may have died in Spain on Sunday morning.
Warren Cloud, one of RTG's biggest online casino licensees, is reported to have had a heart attack while out on a boat late Saturday evening.

The South African online gambling industrialist used several names such as "Don Fortune," "Richard Brooks" or "Oliver Curran". He eventually developed into the major and most victorious of the Real Time Gaming-powered casino workers with venues like Crystal Palace, High Rollers Lounge, Vegas Riches, Golden Nile Casino, Royal Circus Casino, Vegas Frontier Casino and many other brands.

He started out in Johannesburg, South Africa over nine years ago with an online casino powered by Korean software. He was not doing well at first and did not pay many players and he relocated elsewhere, first to Australia and then London. However, although with a questionable reputation, his new businesses prospered after he started using RTG software and based his operations in Costa Rica.

That accomplishment was so manifest that he at one stage considered launching an IPO on the London AIM market worth GBP 120 million. This did not happen, however, and there were rumors that Cloud had instead secured investment finances from a wealthy European businessman.

Often at the centre of arguable decisions to the damage of individual players, leading to widely open quarrels, Cloud had in recent times taken a lower profile, which led people to think that he has retired. He leaves a widow and one child.
