Michigan casino suggestion
 July 31, 2008, 9:18 am (4 months ago)Grand Haven Tribune reported: "The Fruitport Township board scarcely presented a solution Monday, July 28, to back up a casino approached for the previous Great Lakes Downs site.
"Even though the rural community conference was aiming to be informative, the board voted to back up the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians' project with a 4-3 vote facing deeply pro-casino spectators. Most of the 100 locals at the conference insisted on the board to salute the people with a solution.
"...The tribe by now acquired the previous Great Lakes Downs website close to the intersection of I-96 and U.S. 31. Tribe officials stated the planned project may bring in about 1,000 jobs to the people..."
