The clause change covered a frequently troublesome phrase utilized by casinos and programs in the industry: “the terms of this agreement may be modified by us at any time.” The adjustment contains the inclusion of a reviewing process and fifteen day notices to affiliates previous to any alterations are put into practice.
In the meantime, the GAU has boosted membership to 150 affiliates and anticipates to hit 1,000 within the imminent 6 months. “By teaming up with the GAU and changing from a very inappropriate term to one that provides fairness to affiliates, the GAU thinks that Affstorm should be awarded by GAU members and all affiliates. Affstorm are indicating their obligation to affiliates and that they are fair and consistent,” the UK-based GAU chairman Paul White commented.
He announced that an additional 5 affiliate programs are in debate with the GAU about endorsement.
