StanleyBet to help reopen schools in earthquake damaged region

One of the top British Sportsbetting Company StanleyBet International has contributed more than Ђ1.3 million to the earthquake damaged district of Abruzzo in Italy to assist in the establishment of a new school for the village of Arsita.
The biggest donation to the area by a foreign company, the funds has been allocated to revive a primary school damaged by the horrible Italian earthquake in 30 years. The latest facility is going to hold ninety students through thirteen classrooms and is scheduled to open at the beginning of 2010.
“We have very close links in Italy in addition to employing a considerable number of Italian nationals within our business,” commented John Whittaker, Managing Director for StanleyBet.
“Following such a disastrous incident, we felt it was our responsibility to assist in any way we could and as a result we decided to fund the rebuilding of the school in Arsita.”
