New relationship between legalized sports betting and NBA

 December 21, 2009, 11:42 am (7 years ago)
The US national sports leagues have been against Internet gambling. However, a latest Sports Illustrated interview with NBA Commissioner David Stern indicated that their hostility might be easing a little bit.

Stern commented that legalized and regulated sports betting in the United States might bring an opportunity, providing a closer relationship between trustworthy sports betting and the NBA.
The sports director’s comments were delivered in SI.com’s all-decade project emphasizing both best and worst of sports throughout 2000s. In the interview commissioner Stern was requested to look over the past ten years whilst also forecasting what the future could bring, such as legalized sports betting on NBA games. In the interview, Stern showed his acceptance of legalized betting on his games, even though he made no solid assurances.

His dialogue in the interview however, indicated that there might be a possibility that there is going to be a new relationship between the NBA and legalized sports betting.
