The French investment house Louis Dreyfus is getting ready to purchase a stake in Mangas Gaming, a 50-50, Paris-based Internet betting company with Bains de Mer de Monaco and the holding company of French TV creator Stephane Courbit.
Louis Dreyfus is going to participate in a Mangas Gaming capital increase that is going to provide it with 25 % ownership, whilst Courbit is going to reduce his stake to 25 % and shareholding of Bains de Mer de Monaco is going to remain the same as before.
Mangas Gaming is presently Europe’s 3rd largest internet betting group, following Austria’s Bwin and Gibraltar’s PartyGaming. The online gambling group, which holds BetClic, paid about $100 million for 60 % of online poker company Everest Gaming on 16 December in an agreement with parent group Gigamedia.
