New York officials vs. online sport betting rings

New York enforcement officials are still conducting raids against online sports betting rings, as reported by the New York Daily News; they claim that individuals liked with organized crime are being examined in a 2 year, multi million dollar procedures that make wide use of wire tapping.
The gambling unlawful organization under observation apparently carries out the most recent communication tools to transfer money and place wagers on websites abroad, requiring the utilization of evenly hi-tech enforcement technology to counter them.
According to the newspaper, last month along ‘dozens’ of search warrants were applied for by prosecutors involved in the operation, which appears to be centered on Staten Island and Brooklyn.
The list of names in the investigation contains supposed gangsters Pietro Inzerillo and Joseph Lanni, who conduct the business on the website Touchdownbets.com. Additonal online gambling domain names owned by individuals appeared the investigation are Bet1010.com and NYSportsWager.com.
