Chris Bell has lately left his position as CEO of Ladbrokes. This action surely surprised a lot of insiders of the business and provided them with wonders where the former gambling expert is going to put his experience to use. And at the same time, the reason why he resigned is still remaining unveiled.
Some are speculating that the Ladbrokes’ current slump in performance might be the reason; and others speculate that the discord with the company’s ex- chairman is the causes for the leaving. For a lot of industry specialists the smart money is being wagered on Bell making the trip through the Atlantic to collaborate with one of the giant Las Vegas casinos. Mitch Garber, ex- CEO of Party Gaming, has lately taken up the position of head dirctor at the online division of Harrahs Casino.
Some say Bell might be joining one of the major casino groups in the U.S. Harrah’s has surely been practical in increasing their online presence in current months with the hopes that the online gambling limits are going to soon be eased. Up to now, the odds on favorite appears to be the MGM as their latest Citycenter project is coming to the completion stage and they are going to be expecting to boost their presence in the American online gambling market.
