Online casino regulation update in France

To the delight of the European online gambling operators, the finance commission of the Senate set down that one of the provisions in the proposed measures was uncalled-for and has decided to adjust it. A lot of private operators provide service to French players. The bill required these operators to shut down the accounts of their French punters previous to they could apply for licenses under the latest ruling. As reported by France, the Senate has pointed out that this requirement is not required. Senator Francois Trucy as said, "The issue of the shutting down of French accounts is not relevant; operators are going to be able to conduct to work with French players between the regulation being issued and licenses being handed out." The operators who would be issued licenses are going to be needed to open new sites with an fr extension and transfer their existing French players from their existing sites to the new sites.
