Chelsea have been drawn at home to Macclesfield Town in the third round of the FA Cup on the same day as the CAP Euro event , meaning that organisers have had to relocate to London’s Olympia Conference Centre, just a mile down the road.
The first annual CAP Euro affiliate conference which was originally scheduled to be staged at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge complex, has been forced to move due to the football club’s involvement in a 4th round FA Cup tie on the same day.
However inconvenient it would appear, the new venue actually boasts a much larger space with the potential for a bigger capacity, and given that all of the stands have sold out, it can only be a good thing for the event.
Further announcements are scheduled for the coming weeks regarding party arrangements, free rolls for the ASOP, and news on conference speakers, as the CAP Euro looks to build on the support it has received so far.
Organisers have also announced that they will be providing free shuttle buses from all of the original recommended hotels that were located in the Stamford Bridge area, to the London Olympia each day. They also assured that people who booked their hotels through CAP Euro can cancel their reservations if necessary.
