Facebook social networking site has been recently considering the entrance of real money online gambling. This had led to lots of negative reaction in United Kingdom. Daily Mail, one of the well-known newspapers of UK had gathered all those reactions and highlighted them in its article. The article had revealed that approximately 3 million users of Facebook social networking site are having ages of 13 to 17. In addition to this, millions of users are less than 13 years of age but have pretended to be old. Thus, there will be a great danger of involvement of underage people in casino games if it is conducted via Facebook.

Dr Robert Lefever, director of PRC (Promis Recovery Centre) stated that majority of under aged people will have no hesitation in trying gambling, if is conducted via Facebook. However, on interviewing with Facebook, it commented, “We always have crucial discussions with well-known casino companies, but do not like to comment on future planning”.
