This December, operators of Atlantic City have observed an improvement of 4.2% in their performance of casino as compared to the previous year. The Atlantic City has given this remarkable performance in spite of remaining closed for several days because of major snowfall for many days in the month of December. However, this figure has represented the improvement of Atlantic Group, after it had faced consistent downfall in last three and half years.
As per the reports from the Associated Press, in the month of December, 11 casinos of New Jersey City had earned massive revenue worth $245 million, Slot machines had received approximately $170 million, while revenues of all table games have reduced to $72.5 million. In total, this 2011 had seen 6.9% dip in the revenues of Atlantic casino to $3.3 billion. As per director of State Division of Gaming Enforcement, David Rebuck, “This improvement of 4.2% has proved to be a positive sign for economic recovery of all casinos of Atlantic City”.
