Svenska Spel are taking measures against gambling problem

Jesper Karrbrink the CEO of Svenska Spel told the station that Sweden’s ICU Intelligence firm designed the system which analyses how each player place bets, how much money they bet under which situation and how often. The system’s use is voluntary and it is currently designed to observe online gambling and bets placed by players using their private Svenska Spel betting cards.
By evaluating how the system can save anyone before they were enthusiastic, ICU says the system identifies everyone’s growing habit before it becomes a solemn problem by analyzing playing patterns. ICU states that the system recognizes problem gamblers in 90 percent by extensive testing.
Once the system identified a person as being at risk, Svenska Spel has assured to stop all marketing to that person, recommended the gambler to consider his habit, work out the cost of private gambling and take a investigation for gambling addiction.
Svenska Spel also offered the gambler to have a chance of self-exclusion from their betting products. To maintain state-run monopoly the government has drawn criticism for encouraging betting, while rebuke people who is addicted with gambling.
